Hello Resident, Good Afternoon ✅ News from Your Local Policing Team ✅ - Officers were out and about on the patch on pedal cycles when they came across a confused female who they had concerns for, she was returned her home safely and relevant referals for support were made.
- Further drop-in Police surgery meetings have been conducted, thank you to all residents who have attended and raised concerns within the community.
- Proactive patrols have been conducted around Coppice View following reports of unsociable school parking. Officers have spoken with residents regarding our long-term plans who are very happy with Police response. Thank you to the residents and schools for working with us.
- Reassurance visits completed for people who have been victims of crime and crime prevention material have been provided. If any residents wish for some crime prevention material please drop in to one of our Police surgeries.
- Patrols of The Greenway are still taking place, a reminder to all residents to continue to report any anti-social behaviours.
- Officers have arrested a repeat shoplifter from Sainsburys whereby he was charged and attended Court. This was as a result of plain clothes patrols being conducted and the incident unfolding as officers were present.
- Several stops and searches have been conducted over the set, drugs recovered and offenders now needing to attend compulsary drug courses.
